The awning covering the slide out seems to collect a large amount of water from rain or heavy dew. If it is these canvas materials can lose a little of their ability to shed water just like the old tarpolin tents did. I just had both of my seven year old slide toppers fabric replaced due to a year in the larger awning. I was having trouble with water puddling on top of my slide toppers and i think this will solve the problem.
